Kittiwake magic - 04 Dec 2022

 

A gorgeous immature Black-legged Kittiwake was found on Belle Isle Park in the Detroit River, Wayne Co., MI USA yesterday. It was reported again today swimming in the small cove next to the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on the island. With afternoon sunlight shining on it I was able to get some really pleasing digiscoped images from as close as 30' away.
