This Ivory Gull was arguably the best bird seen in Michigan in 2017, and I had the fortunate opportunity to digiscope it from close range just 2 days before it passed. The gull was one of my last captures with the Zeiss 85T*Fl Diascope before selling it in favor of a new Swarovski STX85 scope. The images below represent some of my favorites of the year.
