Lesser Yellowlegs - 22 Oct 2021

I had stopped by Union Camp Marsh to look for some Long-billed Dowitchers, but they had flown since being reported earlier in the day. So, I stopped by Sterling State Park to check out the mudflats for any shorebirds. They were quiet except for a pair of Lesser Yellowlegs that were foraging close enough to digiscope. Both birds are molting juveniles.
