Has Fall Shorebird Migration Started? - 22 Jun 2023

 

The Red Knot from a few days ago has disappeared but today an American Avocet, another Black-bellied Plover, a couple of Semipalmated Sandpipers and Lesser Yellowlegs suggest that Fall Shorebird Migration has started a week and a half early?

A pair of Northern Pintail have been hanging around for several weeks. It was nice to see them!
